This button-press jumps the radio-user directly to the CPS-defined
Query Message entries of the
Text
Messaging Service feature. 
The radio-user is then able to select from the list of predefined entries
and easily transmit a Query with minimal effort.

A TMS Query allows the radio-user to specify information in a pre-formatted query template and send this as a Message to a Query Server; the Server then responds with a text message containing the requested information. |
When the Trunking System or Conventional System, Text Messaging Service feature is enabled on the radio's current channel, and
when the TMS Query Service is currently available to the radio (see User Authentication).
